Arrowsmith CPR Regional Trail
Hwy 4 to McBey Creek Bridge
Temporary Closure

The Regional District of Nanaimo has closed the lower part of the Arrowsmith CPR Regional Trail, specifically the section between Highway 4 and the McBey Creek Bridge. Landowner TimberWest is undertaking road building and harvesting in the vicinity of the lower trail section and authorized recreational land use there has been suspended. The lower section of the Arrowsmith CPR Regional Trail is expected to remain closed through the fall and winter 2016-17.

Trail users are asked to please obey all signs posted on the trail along with any directions provided by the landowner. Arrowsmith CPR Regional Trail situated above the McBey Creek Bridge and accessible from the Alberni Clayoquot Regional District Park (old ski hill area), remains open for use.
