A Public Information Meeting will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at 6:30 pm at Cedar Heritage Centre located at 1644 MacMillan Road, Nanaimo concerning the provision of parkland or cash-in-lieu of parkland dedication as part of a Subdivision Application for the property located on Lazy Susan Drive, Electoral Area 'A', legally described as The West 60 acres of Section 12, Range 1, Cedar District, Except Parcel A (DD6974N), and Except Those Parts Within the Areas Outlined Red on Plans 573 RW, 657 RW and 1997 RW, and Except Those Parts in Plans 7914, 23683 and EPP41405 (see location map below).

The applicant proposes to subdivide the property into four residential lots and dedicate an area or pay cash-in-lieu of parkland dedication pursuant to Section 510 of the Local Government Act.

The purpose of the Public Information Meeting is to introduce the applicant's proposal to dedicate parkland or pay cash-in-lieu of parkland dedication and to invite comments from the public regarding this proposal. Please note this is not a Public Hearing. A summary of the comments received at this meeting will be provided to the Electoral Area Services Committee and Regional Board as part of the application review process.
