AVAILABILITY OF LIST OF REGISTERED ELECTORS

Beginning Tuesday, February 8, 2011 until the close of general voting for the Referendum, a copy of the list of registered electors will, upon signature, be available for public inspection at the offices of the Regional District of Nanaimo between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday, excluding holidays.

PERSONAL INFORMATION

An elector may request that personal information respecting the elector may be omitted from or obscured on the list in accordance with Section 63 of the Local Government Act until 4:00 pm, Friday, February 18, 2011.

OBJECTION OF REGISTRATION OF AN ELECTOR

An objection to the registration of a person whose name appears on the list of registered electors may be made in accordance with the Local Government Act until 4:00 p.m., Friday, February 18, 2011.

An objection may only be made by a person entitled to be registered as an elector of the Nanoose Bay Fire Protection Service Area and can only be made on the basis that the person whose name appears has died or is not qualified to be registered as an elector of the Regional District of Nanaimo.
