In Regional Districts in British Columbia you pay only for those services provided to the Electoral Area or Municipality in which you reside. These lists detail, in each participating area, the services provided directly by the Regional District of Nanaimo and those services funded by the Regional District but administered through another agency (*) in each jurisdiction, (i.e. fire protection provided by volunteer fire departments or by contract with a municipality).
