Community Working Group

Area H – OCP Review The Community Working Group is made up of people who have a community vision and are willing to work respectfully together with a goal of an invigorated and current OCP. We are seeking volunteers from the community for this Working Group that will meet approximately monthly between March and November, 2016 (with a break for the summer). The working group will be tasked with confirming and prioritizing local issues, and acting as an information source for both the community as a whole, and for RDN planning staff.

The Working Group is an open group, meaning that there is no selection process, so all who volunteer are welcome. It is requested, however, that volunteers commit to attending most if not all meetings. The door is open to those who wish to drop in to just one meeting on a topic of interest, but you may be asked to observe rather than participate. If you aren’t part of the working group you can always submit input to the RDN by email or letter, and attend upcoming community open houses.

Working Group Members

In January, 2016 the RDN advertised for Working Group members, with a request that all who are interested register prior to the first meeting on March 1. There are currently 31 members registered. If you have any questions about the Working Group, or are interested in joining, please contact us.
