A Public Information Meeting will be held Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at 6:30 pm at Lighthouse Community Centre, 240 Lions Way, Qualicum Beach concerning the zoning amendment application affecting the property located at 4660 & 4652 Anderson Avenue in Electoral Area 'H', legally described as District Lot 109, Newcastle District, Except That Part in Plan 30254 (see location map below).
The applicant proposes to rezone a portion of the subject property from Rural 1 (RU1), Subdivision District 'A' to Rural 1 (RU1), Subdivision District 'CC', under the "Regional District of Nanaimo Land use and Subdivision Bylaw No. 500, 1987", to permit a four lot subdivision.
The purpose of the Public Information Meeting is to introduce the proposed change in parcel density and to invite comments from the public regarding this application. Please note this is not a Public Hearing. A summary of the comments received at this meeting will be provided to the Electoral Area Services Committee and Regional Board as part of the application review process.
