The applicant proposes to rezone the subject properties by adding Automotive Repair as a site-specific use to the Commercial 2 (CM2) Zone, under the "Regional District of Nanaimo Land Use and Subdivision Bylaw No. 500, 1987", to allow automobile repair on the subject property.
The purpose of the Public Information Meeting is to introduce the proposed change in land use and to invite comments from the public regarding this application. Please note this is not a Public Hearing. A summary of the comments received at this meeting will be provided to the Electoral Area Services Committee and Regional Board as part of the application review process.
