
You are invited to an Open House for the
Nanaimo River Regional Park
A Draft Management Plan has been drafted for the Nanaimo River Regional Park as shown on the map below. The Regional District of Nanaimo is holding an Open House to present the draft Plan. The purpose of the Plan is to provide guidance for the short and long term management of the Park and we would like to receive your comments on the draft Plan.
The Nanaimo River Regional Park is 56.5 ha and contains mature Douglas Fir forest and significant salmon rearing and spawning habitat. It is located east of the Trans Canada Highway Nanaimo River Bridge, on Fry Road.
