RDN Partners with Depots for Contest

The Regional District of Nanaimo is a leader in recycling, with a diversion rate of 68%. This means that residents send 347 kg of waste per person per year, to the landfill, versus 520kg for the rest of British Columbia. The RDN was able to reach such high diversion rates in part because of the services provided by depots.

To help promote depots, EPR programs and increase diversion, the RDN is partnering with the following depots for a contest.
