Terms of ReferenceThe Board of the Regional District of Nanaimo approved the following Terms of Reference for the Electoral Area 'A' Official Community Plan Review on July 22, 2008.
Technical Background ReportThe following report provides a snapshot of Electoral Area 'A' including population demographics, an overview of how the Plan works towards the goals of the Regional Growth Strategy, and an analysis of the development and subdivision potential based on the policies contained in the Official Community Plan and the current zoning.

Groundwater Assessment and Vulnerability Study
As part of the OCP review, a ground water assessment and vulnerability study has been completed. The recommendations provided by the study were considered in drafting the OCP and form the basis for how groundwater is protected in the Electoral Area 'A' OCP.
