Professional Engineering Services for
Greater Nanaimo Pollution Control Center Works and Services

The Regional District of Nanaimo is expanding the Greater Nanaimo Pollution Control Center (GNPCC) located at 4600 Hammond Bay Road in Nanaimo, to include secondary treatment to meet commitments in the Liquid Waste Management Plan. A detailed design for frontage works and services on Hammond Bay Road is required as part of the City of Nanaimo permitting process.

The purpose of the Request for Proposals (RFP) is to obtain proposals to provide a complete engineering design, cost estimate and Design Stage Acceptance for the GNPCC Frontage Works and Services.

A predesign was completed for this project by the City of Nanaimo, the anticipated elements of the design will include: curb, gutter, landscaped boulevard, 3.0 wide walking trail, road and trail lighting and habitat fencing. The proposed improvements border the Wally Creek which is an environmentally sensitive area.

3 complete hard copies plus 1 electronic (CD or USB key) copy prepared in .pdf format of the Response must be received before 2:00 PM Pacific Time on April 27, 2017
