The Regional District of Nanaimo (RDN) is issuing this Expression of Interest to determine interest in providing on call crane truck services on behalf of the French Creek Pollution Control Centre located at 957 Lee Road in Parksville, BC.
Most of the projects involve pulling pumps from 10' to 20' below grade and sometimes lifting them over an 8' enclosure. The heaviest pump is about 600 kg with a 4m reach and most are less than 300 kg with the furthest reach around 6m. A heavy-duty pickup truck chassis with a flat deck, winch and a mid-mounted crane would be ideal.
