Open Houses and Pop-Up Office for Nanaimo Airport Land Use Bylaw Updates

Attend an open house or pop-up office to learn about draft Official Community Plan and Zoning Bylaw amendments for Nanaimo Airport lands, and to provide your comments.

The Regional District of Nanaimo proposes to amend the Electoral Area A Official Community Plan and Zoning Bylaw No. 500 for lands owned by the Nanaimo Airport Commission both to recognize the existing airport operations and to facilitate future commercial development on the portion of land fronting the Trans Canada Highway at Spitfire Road.
