Temporary fencing at Decourcy Drive Community Park has been removed and the park is now open to the public. The park was fenced off in December following a fatal plane crash.
In recent weeks, soil sampling has been collected from the site and an arborist is monitoring the trees impacted by the crash. A small section of fencing will remain while remediation and monitoring take place. The public is asked to stay on the main trail to the beach to allow the area to return to a natural state as quickly as possible.
