Due to physical distancing recommendations from the Provincial Health Officer, RDN Transportation Services has had to make changes to the number of Mobility Aids permitted on RDN buses. This notice relates to Mobility Aids that cannot be collapsed or folded.
How does this affect RDN riders?
- Full-size bus: One rear-facing Mobility Aid only. No forward-facing Mobility Aids will be permitted at this time.
- Community Shuttles (small bus): One Mobility Aid only. The Driver must attach the Mobility Aid to the bus with a series of connections (shoulder harness may be required). The Driver will wear Personal Protective Equipment.
