Today, Regional District of Nanaimo (RDN) Transit resumes front door loading and collection of fares. Bus seating restrictions will also be eased beginning June 3, 2020 and buses will be able to accommodate approximately two thirds capacity before being deemed full (up to 35 passengers). The increase will accommodate the growing number of passengers returning to the transit system.
