Stage 1 Watering Restrictions in Effect for Most RDN Water Service Areas

The Regional District of Nanaimo (RDN) watering restrictions have returned to Stage 1 in most RDN Water Service Areas, including:

RETURN TO STAGE 1 WATERING RESTRICTIONS
  • Surfside
  • Westurne Heights
  • Melrose
  • San Pareil
  • French Creek (Sandpiper)
  • Nanoose Bay Peninsula
  • Englishman River (Rivers Edge)

Due to some recent water supply challenges, the following RDN Water Service Areas will remain in Stage 4 Watering Restrictions until further notice:

  • Whiskey Creek
