The RDN is proposing to amend the Regional Growth Strategy (RGS), Electoral Area A Official Community Plan (OCP) and Zoning Bylaw No. 500 for lands owned by the Nanaimo Airport Commission. The purpose of the proposed amendments is to recognize the existing airport operations and to support future commercial uses complementary to the Airport on the portion of the land adjacent to the Trans-Canada Highway.
A Public Hearing for the proposed RGS, Electoral Area A OCP and Zoning Bylaw 500 amendments is being held virtually via Zoom on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at 3 p.m.
