Public Notice - RDN Cooling Centre Opening This Weekend

The Regional District of Nanaimo (RDN) will open Oceanside Place Arena Victor Kraatz Rink as a cooling centre to provide people with temporary relief from the predicted record-breaking temperatures. The cooling centre will be open on Saturday, June 26 and Sunday, June 27 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. each day. Signage will be in place to direct all visitors to the building. Bottled water will also be available.
