The Regional District of Nanaimo is expanding the playground area for a swing set in Maple Lane Community Park, located in San Pareil. Construction will begin on July 14 and be completed in early August. The playground area in Maple Lane Community Park will be closed due to construction, but the rest of the park will be open for use.
