The Regional District of Nanaimo (RDN) Board acclaimed a Chair and Vice-Chair at the inaugural meeting of the Board on November 9, 2021. Provincial legislation requires regional districts annually elect a Chair and a Vice-Chair at the first meeting of the Board after November 1. Tyler Brown takes on his second term as Chair of the RDN and will chair all Board meetings. Returning Vice-Chair, Vanessa Craig, is responsible for fulfilling the role of the Chair when the Chair is unavailable.
