Parks and Trails Alert - Coats Marsh Park Access Restrictions

Coats Marsh Regional Park is the first protected wetland on Gabriola Island. The primary management objective for the park, as identified in the 2011 - 2021 Management Plan, is environmental conservation. The management plan states: Because of the sensitivity of developing plant communities and wildlife species within the park, all park trails and designated recreational areas are for pedestrian use only, with no access for dogs and horses.
