Public Hearing for Application No. PL2021-043 - Amendment Bylaws 1615.06 and 1620.09

A Public Hearing will be held for Amendment Bylaws 1615.06 and 1620.09, respecting 1329, 1333, 1340 Kipp Road and PID 026232391 in Electoral Area A. The purpose of the proposed bylaws is to amend the Regional Growth Strategy (RGS) and Official Community Plan (OCP) by changing the land use designation in the RGS from ‘Rural Residential’ to ‘Industrial’ on all three subject properties; and to amend the OCP to remove the ‘Rural Residential’ land use designation and replace it with the ‘South Wellington Light Industrial and Commercial Area’ land use designation for properties located at 1340 Kipp Rd and PID 026232391. If adopted, the applicant intends to apply to rezone 1340 Kipp Road and PID 026232391 to facilitate the future expansion of the existing industrial business.

This Public Hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at 7 p.m.
