Call For Nominees for RDN Recreation And Culture Performance Recognition

We're proud of you! The District 69 Recreation Commission recognizes local individuals and members of teams who have achieved Gold Medal or first place standing in sport, culture or artistic performance. The Recreation and Parks Department is currently taking nominations for the next Performance Recognition Ceremony. Past nominees have been recognized for their wins in swimming, lawn bowling, volleyball, cycling, poetry and many other provincial and national sports and cultural endeavors.

The RDN Performance Recognition Program is open to individuals and teams who have placed first in a provincial, inter-provincial or national athletic or artistic competition. To qualify for this program, nominees must be amateur participants who live in the City of Parksville, the Town of Qualicum Beach or Electoral Area E, F, G or H. Nomination forms are available online or may be picked up at Oceanside Place Arena or Ravensong Aquatic Centre. Nominations received by October 27, 2017 will be considered for the next Recognition Event.
