Services Provided to Electoral Areas and Municipalities

In regional districts in British Columbia property owners pay only for those services provided to the electoral area or municipality in which they reside. Each page in this section details the services provided directly by the Regional District of Nanaimo and those services funded by the Regional District but administered through another agency (*) in each jurisdiction, (i.e. fire protection provided by volunteer fire departments or by contract with a municipality).
