The Regional District of Nanaimo thanks its water customers and all residents for their efforts to conserve water this summer, during the drought conditions and fire risk period. As hot dry summers become longer and more frequent in our region, the efforts of residents to be efficient with outdoor watering helps our communities be resilient. Stage 2 is normal for the month of September, based on the common regional framework for watering restrictions. To learn more tips about water conversation visit teamwatersmart.ca.
