Notice of Zoning Amendment Application No. PL2023-029

The Regional District of Nanaimo (RDN) is in receipt of a Zoning Amendment application respecting 2935 Trans-Canada Highway, in Electoral Area A. The applicant proposes to change the zoning of the portion of the subject property zoned Rural 4 (RU4), Subdivision District 'D' to Industrial 2 (IN2), Subdivision District 'Z', under the "Regional District of Nanaimo Land Use and Subdivision Bylaw No. 500, 1987", to expand the existing steel fabrication business beyond the current IN2-zoned portion.
