Agendas, Minutes and Videos

Below, you can find a database of Regional District of Nanaimo (RDN) meeting agendas, minutes and video recordings since July 2019. To access agendas, minutes and videos, click on a meeting in the calendar below and a pop-up will display available links. For information about meetings earlier than July 2019, please refer to the Calendar of Events.

Meetings, except for Board of Variance and Advisory Committees, are webcast online. This includes:

Regional District of Nanaimo Board
Standing Committees
Select Committees
The Drinking Water and Watershed Protection Technical Advisory Committee

The public is invited to watch meetings on the live feed. If you are interested in speaking at a meeting, please see Appearing as a Delegation.

Watch Meetings Live

To view the live feed for a meeting, find the meeting using the calendar below. When you click on the meeting, if the live feed is ready, there will be a Live Feed option you can click on to access the meeting. Please note that the live feed link is not available until approximately 10 minutes prior to the start time of the meeting. To access the closed captioning, select the ‘CC’ icon at the bottom right of the video.

For those without a device they can use to watch the live feed, a physical meeting location is listed for each meeting. The public can, in limited numbers, watch the live feed from this location. For Advisory Committee meetings, there is a physical meeting location listed. As Advisory Committee meetings are not livestreamed, the public can attend, in limited numbers, to watch the meeting at the location provided.

Watch Past Meetings

To watch a recording of a past meeting, select the Video link on the meeting you want to watch. If you want to watch the time-stamped video instead, select Agenda (HTML) on the meeting you want to watch. On the HTML agenda, selecting a linked agenda item will automatically jump you to that point in the video.
