    Recent amendments to the Local Government Act added waste management and recycling facilities to the list of eligible categories for DCC programs. The RDN would be the first regional district to implement this new category of DCCs.

    Impacted and interested groups are invited to provide feedback on adding this proposed new category of DCCs, Solid Waste and Recycling, to the RDN's DCC program. Input can be given through virtual public meetings (link for the November 5 meeting: https://ca01web.zoom.us/j/68149688083) and an online survey which is available on our engagement page at getinvolved.rdn.ca/solid-waste-dcc
