RDN Rebate - Green Building Incentives

Welcome to the RDN Green Buildings Incentives application form. RDN Electoral Area residents can use this form to upload the following rebates:

  • Fossil Fuel to Heat Pump
  • Home Energy Assessments (Initial & Follow-up)
  • Renewable Energy Systems
  • Residential EV Charging Station
  • Sustainable Development Checklist
  • Graded Site-Cut Timber

All rebate applications, excluding the Initial Home Energy Assessment, must be submitted within 90 days of purchase with proof of purchase. Initial Home Energy Assessments must be submitted within 12 months of purchase with proof of purchase. Rebates will be disbursed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Please note, the Community Woodsmoke Reduction Program is available to residents of an RDN Electoral area, or the municipalities of Qualicum Beach, Parksville, Lantzville, and Nanaimo. Residents of Nanaimo must apply directly to: woodstovechangeout@nanaimo.ca All other RDN Green Building Incentives are available to RDN Electoral Area residents only.
