Louise's yard includes many Watershed Friendly Yard features, including her water wise planned garden, rain catchment system and being chemical free! By using a rain catchment system off her rancher, Jeannie ensures her berries and fruit trees receive temperate water throughout the summer.

Roy's drought tolerant plants have low watering needs and little maintenance. They are also self-mulching! Bank stabilization, wildlife habitat and privacy are provided on the Allen's property by this drought tolerant berm.

Gale has a watershed friendly yard as she has native plantings and does not use any chemicals. Leaving stream side vegetation in its natural state helps to protect the health of our waterways. No chemicals are used are this Nile Creek property.

Bev's gravel driveway promotes infiltration of water into the ground and decreases storm water run-off. Stepping stones with space in between allows rainfall to enter and recharge groundwater, no chemicals are used to keep these stones looking their best.
