Ravensong Aquatic Centre uses the Lifesaving Society Swim for Life program.  

If a swim lesson set is full, please add your name to the waitlist. If staffing levels increase lesson sets will be added and those on the waitlist will be prioritized for registration.

Not sure what swim level to register in? 

• Log on and check your account. The last level completed will be recorded in the 'My Account/Activity Program Graded List' 
• Call  250-248-3252 or 250-752-5014 and our staff will be happy to look this up for you. 
• Visit the pool during an Everyone Welcome session and ask our staff to recommend the right swim level. 

If you are just starting lessons, we recommend:  

• 0-2 years register in parent and tot lessons
• Ages 3-5 years start in Preschool 1 
• Ages 5 years+ start in Swimmer 1 

To ensure adequate staffing levels, please contact us at 250-752-5014 if you are planning to bring a group to an Everyone Welcome session. 

Plan your party during an Everyone Welcome swim session and purchase a 10x active pass for admissions. Remember to invite enough adults to meet the water safety ratio rule for children seven years of age and under, as they must be within arm’s reach of a parent or guardian while in the water. A maximum of three children seven years of age or under per adult. 

Please note the lobby space is not available for rentals.  

Both pools are disinfected using a tablet chlorination system. The pool water is also filtered and treated with ultraviolet light and sand filtration. The main pool water is re-circulated through the system in its entirety once every six hours.  

The pools are set at the following temperatures:  

• Leisure pool: 34.5 C or 94 F
• Lane pool: 29 C or 84.2 F  

• Four universal family private changerooms, with showers/toilets/sinks
• One shared female changeroom with privacy stalls with washrooms and showers
• One shared male changeroom with privacy stalls with washrooms and showers

All persons with open sores, bandages, head colds, discharging ears, noses or infected eyes are not permitted in the pool area 

Children seven years of age and under, or under four feet tall, must always be accompanied in the water and within arms-reach of a parent or guardian (16 years of age or older) 

A maximum ratio of three children seven years of age or under, or under four feet tall, per each adult
