The Regional District of Nanaimo (RDN) invites responses to this Request for Tender (RFT) for the RDN Transportation Services Building Roof Replacement 2016. The proposal is to replace an existing SBS/tar and gravel roof at the RDN’s Transit shop facility.Scope
The scope of work includes furnishing of all labor, materials, services and equipment necessary to provide a replacement roofing system for the office/warehouse roof area on the Nanaimo Transportation Services Building located at 6400 Applecross Road, Nanaimo, British Columbia. The work included is as shown on the roof plan and on the attached Invitation to Tender.Sealed tenders will be received by the owner representatives until 2:00 P.M., (local time), Thursday September 15, 2016 for the above mentioned roof replacement project.Copies of the tender documents and project specifications will be available on BC BID or from J. Watson Roofing Consulting Inc. (Jim Watson Consultant). A Mandatory Site Tour will be held between 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday September 07, 2016.
This Mandatory site meeting is provided for contractors in preparation for their project tender document submissions.
This Site Tour will convene at Front Entrance of the Transportation Services Building at 6400 Applecross Road Nanaimo, British Columbia.
