RDN News Release - Employee Vaccination Policy

The Regional District of Nanaimo (RDN) is implementing a COVID-19 vaccination policy for all employees and contracted employees. The policy comes into effect on January 10, 2022, employees must provide proof of vaccination or regular negative testing results. The policy is the latest measure adopted by the RDN to lessen the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. The RDN will continue to follow provincial health orders and employ best practices in our facilities and while delivering programs and services to protect the health and safety of our employees, residents and their families.
