In response to the Public Health Office (PHO) Orders released today, the Regional District of Nanaimo (RDN) will be cancelling the following effective at 11:59 p.m. Sunday, December 19 until January 31, 2022:
- All sports tournaments for youth and adults
- The New Year’s Eve Celebration at Oceanside Place Arena
- The annual Polar Bear Splash in Parksville
Proof of vaccination will be required for events, now of any size, at both the Oceanside Place Arena and Ravensong Aquatic Centre.
A reminder that spectators of events or recreation programs at both Oceanside Place Arena and Ravensong Aquatic Centre are required to provide proof of vaccine as per PHO.
