Benson Creek Falls (Ammonite Falls) Regional Park - Safety Notice

Hazardous tree work has been completed in Benson Creek Falls Regional Park and the park is now open. Please continue to use caution when using the park as weather events and other factors may change conditions and pose new hazards. Be advised that trails outside of the park boundaries may not be clear for use and may still have downed trees, debris and overhead hazards.

General Update:

RDN Parks staff are continuing to assess all regional and community parks and trails throughout the region for downed trees and debris and continuing clean-up following recent storms. The assessment and clean-up process will continue into 2019. Where necessary for user safety, temporary closure signs will be posted and notices added to the RDN web site. Please respect all posted signs and do not enter until the notices have been removed.

We appreciate and welcome residents to report any safety concerns within RDN parks and trails to assist us in ensuring they are safe to enjoy. To advise us of a safety concern you can visit our website and complete our form at: www.rdn.bc.ca/parks or call 1-888-828-2069
